“Jesus is the Best Gift” Instructions

Supplies Needed:

⅛ cup of milk in a cup

⅛ cup honey in a cup

⅛ cup oil in a cup

⅛ cup dish soap in a cup

1 bigger clear cup (to pour the above ingredients into)

Steps:

1. Talk to the child about the oil representing Jesus! 

2. Ask them what their top 3 gifts are that they hope to get on Christmas.

3. Pretend the milk, honey, and dish soap represent the 3 gifts.

4. Pour each gift  (All 4, including “Jesus”) into the bigger clear cup. 

5. In anticipation, watch and observe
   what happens.

6. Ask the child which “gift” they think will end up on top as the experiment
   is conducted.

7. Discuss which comes to the top, and explain that Jesus is the best gift!
