168 Church will heading out to FMSC to pack meals. Ages 5 and up are welcome to join in! We will be gathering for our regular service on July 27 @10am.

On July 6, we’re encouraging you to attend a neighboring church with a friend. This is a part of our values of kingdom collaboration to remind us that we’re all part of the same big family of God.

Here are 4 churches we’re recommending:

• Renew Church (Westmont)

• Wellspring (Wheaton)

• Restoration Church (Naperville)

• Springbrook Church (Plainfield – our sending church)

This replaces our Sunday gathering. We will be back at our regular time on 7/13.

168 will be heading out to Wayside Cross Ministries in Aurora—a Christ-centered ministry for the homeless, addicted, and incarcerated. We’ll meet at 11am at Wayside to help prep lunch, eat and connect with the men, worship together, and hear some powerful testimonies of life transformation.

Wayside regularly hosts groups like us, and this is a great opportunity for all ages. This service project replaces our Sunday morning gathering.

Let’s continue to live missionally as we invite friends to this game! Baseball, hotdogs and friends.

FAQs

• What’s happening at 9:25am?

  From 9:25-9:45am, we will be packing welcome packs for Facing Foward (Homeless ministry). All ages are welcome. The service will start at 10am.

• Where are we meeting?

  We will be meeting at our regular location (2500 Cabot Dr. Lisle, IL). Click on the map for directions.

• What else is on the agenda?

  Authentic worship, a gospel centered/relatable teach, and a welcoming atmosphere. Coffee, donuts and treats.

• Will childcare be provided?

  Yes. We will have full 168 Kids programming.

• What should I wear?

  Some folks will attend in their “Easter Best” while others will come in casual wear.

Join us for a night of worship, reflection, teaching, and hot chocolate at our annual Eve of Eve service!

Hot chocolate and refreshments will be available pre-service starting at 6pm.

Join us as we focus on our 3 global partners in Ensenada, Mexico + hold a chili cookoff. We will also have cornhole, games, etc., to continue building relationships and friendships.

A yearly tradition at 168, Trunk or Treat is a great opportunity to give back to our friends Giant Steps (who allow us in their building every week) and participate in our community.

168 Church will be traveling to Streator Camp to seek God and deepen friendships. We will have our Sunday gathering at Streator (no Sunday gathering in Lisle). We will gather back at Lisle on June 30.

On 4/21 (Sunday) 168 will gather at 2500 Cabot Drive (our normal meeting place) for a different type of Sunday. Instead of gathering in rows, we want to bless our city through a community project. This day will run from 10AM - Noon.
